I have lived here 2 weeks now. I honestly have not yet had a problem. EVERYTHING I marked on my walk through list was repaired/replaced the first week I was here. I am on a second floor with no one above me. I have asked my neighbors downstairs if they can hear us moving around. They said no. I have not yet heard any of my nextdoor neighbors either. Perhaps I am the one off but I cannot find anything to complain about yet.

I think you are making a big mistake but if you are like me, you do what you want anyway so....good luck.

Well I hope your "talk" works miracles for ya. I'm sure you had to sign the lease so you'll be in the same boat as the rest of us, screwed, when they don't live up to your expectations. I also live in an apt w/a garage. It's nice having a garage but the build of the apt is crap. You can hear TV's & radios from your neighbors and it sounds like cows live above you. The apt you were shown probably isn't as nice as the one you'll move in to. They pulled a bait & switch on me. The counter tops and floors are stained, appliances are old, dirty, and constantly breaking down. The equipment in the fitness center is always broken and they can't keep TVs in there from getting stolen. The hot tub on the north side of the complex is disgusting and always broken. Maintenance is a lot faster now than when I first moved in. Mgmt is constantly changing and they don't follow through with promises. I hope you have a different experience than I'm having....

Which manager is it that you had the talk with? Be careful not to expect anything from them, as you may hurt their widdle fweeling and they'll have the regional VP call you about how you made them cwy and then grill you about lies the 8itchy office crew passed along.
