Why it became a place I was no longer "Proud to call home"

Reasons I left;
It was rumored that rates were changing and it seemed when I asked management when that would happen and what they might be they were unwilling to answer... at least until you locked yourself into another year's lease with them.
The property needed some repairs, like new washers, new carpeting or paint for tenants requesting it, paneling in the bathrooms, etc, but money seemed to be allocated for superficial things, like a fence replaced that wasn't broken. The pool was closed more often than open for whatever reason.
After a point, staff changed frequently, enough so that tenants became numbers to them, not people. I watched the quality of my neighbors with long standing tenure (elderly people and familys that proved to be both quiet and crime free tenants moved out slowly) be replaced with loudness and disrespect.
Contracts and written agreements tend to disappear from their files on a regular basis, mainly when it could financially benefit them.
The crime rate has gone up some, enough so that in a small area like Euless it's noticeable. The quality of the tenants now shows it. Management once cared who lived there, now it seems they mainly look at dollar signs, not people.
All I can say is, after 6 years of living there, now it's not worth it, even if the rates were the same...
So, with the previous personal observations and opinions in mind, no,I wouldn't recomend it to anyone...
