I moved into building 2 in October 2007, and have been dissatisfied every since. First, my apartment looks nothing like the model. The so-called renovation is a joke. The counters are warped, there is paint over-spray on the floor and HVAC unit is old and dusty (more on that in a bit).

Maintenance is a joke. I submitted a maintenance request within a week of moving end. However, I had to follow 3 times before the issue was addressed. When maintenance finally showed up, they left a mess. There was dirt and grime in my tub, and my toiletries were all over the floor. Needless to say this was very unprofessional.

Now about the HVAC unit. When it began to get cold, like anyone else, I began to run the heat. The next energy bill received rose $40, and after that and additional $10. After 2 months of high energy bills, I decided to not run the heater. Guess what' This month's energy bill dropped $40. Go figure.

Last, but certainly not least, there's the hot water situation. My building (2), has been without hot water for the last 2 months, along with several others. Management has been very nonchalant about it. We are not updated unless you go into the office to inquire about the situation. There have been no concessions or apologies offered. It is ridiculous! My lease is up in April, and I think it goes without saying that I am not planning to stay.

In the past, I've taken reviews like this with a grain of salt. However, I would advise you to heed the warnings and head in a different direction.
