I recently moved out. Lived in the apartments 1 1/2 yrs. Maintenace is really slow are not at all. It took me several months to get the outside building light replace that burned out. (Sidewalk was dark walking up to the apartment) Requests were made several times. Finally I gave up asking for anything else. There are car break ins all the time. Parking is REALLY BAD. Not only is there not enough parking for the tenants but then you have the people from the dog park coming over and taking your parking spaces.
Walls are thin and you hear everything. I lived downstairs and I could hear the upstairs neighbors and I mean everything!
Electric is so high there is no insultion. In wall or windows. Bathroom sink had cheap in them from 1980's
When it came to moving out. I followed all the guidelines that were requested. 2 month notice, etc.... Did all the maintence that was requested on the apartment. Had carpets cleaned OUT OF MY POCKET! Apartment was cleaner than when I moved in. (I had to clean it). Aparment was in MOVE IN CONDITION! Meet with the office staff. Said everything was good to go. I WOULD BE GETTING ALL MY DEPOSITS BACK.
Well, Guess what they LIED. Out of $1,000.00 Deposit it put up $800.00 for my two pets. They decided that they need to kept all my deposits. So, needless to say the new tenant was not please so I got stuck paying for there new carpet which nothing was wrong with it.
Did I say that the carpet was professional cleaning' Yes, Carpet looked and smelled great!
So when I called about the $100.00 check I received. They start lying to be again. Asked to talk to the manager. She "wasn't in" But, she would be more than Happy to call me the next day. This was week ago. Still haven't heard from anyone. They also added more fees with I have not clue what they are.
Needless to say DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING FROM THIS APARTMENT MANAGEMENT OFFICE. THEY ARE CROOKS!
