When I first lived in these apartments, it was a great place to live. Had a few problems here & there, but what complex doesn't. Between November 2003 to now the complex has severly gone down hill. It was during this time that management had changed to what I thought would be better, considering the other types of property they ran....boy, was I wrong! They did repaint the exterior of the apartments which made it look a little better. I thought the parking lot was to be repaved...instead all that was done was a layer on black tar & repainted the lines. Crappy job, because the pot holes & roughness came back with in a month. They no longer seem to be screening new tenants & are less restrictive about who they let in. Up untill recently, I know that up 6 units if not more in my building alone, sat empty, that is not including other bulidings. Everyone I knew was moving out. 911 had been called more times than I can count, because of gun shots, noise, fighting, drug deals & other things. When asked about some of the calls, the staff had an excuse for everything. When asked for something to be fixed, it usually takes a couple of days, when it is convenient for them or they say they fixed it & then a couple of days later the problem occurs again. The staff is okay. Somethings did get fixed/resloved but only after numerous complaints by myself and other tenants. Had issues when a break-in occured. Will not recommend to anyone & will discourage others who look there. Will be moving out when lease is up.
