Run Away!! Unless You Like Living with Roaches

I should have walked away when they showed me an example unit that was full of garbage. They said the prior residents had "just up and left". More than likely, they fled in fear for their lives. The day I moved in, I saw my first roach. The complex has bombed. I've bombed and sprayed. Nothing helps. I quized the folks living around me and they all have similar stories. The only hope for this place would be to burn it to the ground. Also, the interior is terrible. They tried to make my apartment 'look' nice with new carpet and paint, but you can't coverup age and poor long-term maintenance. Stupidly, I signed a year's lease. Now I'm stuck in roach hell. I'm counting the days and setting aside money in my "get-the-hell-out-of-Hunt-Club-as-fast-as-possible" fund.
