I lived in these apartments for 2 years, and it is definitely a very affordable place to live and you get a lot of square footage for your buck. I enjoyed living here for the most part, and have always been a very responsible tenant and always paid rent on time. However the reviews of the staff are correct...there has been a good deal of turnover and when Kim was there it was much better, but now they are rude, go back on their word, and will charge you for anything they can get away with. But even that I was willing to accept...the reason I moved is the numerous accounts of safety issues, including mass car vandalisms/break ins and peeping toms. I am a young woman living alone and more than once had to call 911 for various incidents regarding my safety at night. Once the cops even showed up at my door unannounced, and explained they were from the FBI fugitive squad looking for the previous resident!! I couldn't believe that one, and I'm not exaggerating one bit...obviously there were no problems since whoever it they were looking for was long gone, but pretty scary to think someone living next door could be wanted by the FBI...'' Needless to say I left, and to their credit the management did let me out of my lease due to the circumstances, though not without numerous conversations and because the corporate office made them...
Anyways, the apartments themselves are fine, affordable, and an acceptable place to live outside of the safety issues. I was upset that's what drove me out because I was otherwise content there. But because of the safety I really recommend staying away. There are so many apartments in the area that are farther from the highway, gated, and do background checks on their residents and actually have restrictions on who can live there if they have any criminal history...I have happily paid the same rent down the street by sacrificing a few square feet of space and feel much safer, and I would recommend you do the same. It's just not worth it.
