The Mandolin Apartments are a member of the Fort Worth Apartment Association, Texas Apartment Association, and the National Apartment Association. It has been our experience that very often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for nonpayment of rent or other lease violations or who have never actually lived on the property. Be cautious in assuming the truthfulness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend that visiting with current residents onsite is a more reliable method of obtaining third-party opinions about our apartment community and its management.

I disagree with the statement above! I am a current resident who will be moving out soon. I have NEVER made a late payment, nor have I caused any problems while living here. I do encourage you to do what the manager said...talk to current residents as you see them outside. I hope you are fortunate enough to speak to one of the people living in my area...we all are ready to get out of this place. Good luck if you choose to live here. I would advise against it.

I agree with "glance". I lived in the complex for a year and found out near the end of my lease that I wanted to move out. The new manager is TERRIBLE! We never had a late payment or caused any problems. The new manager knows NOTHING about customer service and thinks that she is too good to speak to residents when they come in. The apartments are extremely nice and have great amenities, and I would have stayed, but the new manager changed my mind for me. I was initially referred to the complex, but the one that referred me moved out due to being charged a late fee for paying her rent late one time. Another resident, who I referred, paid their rent only hours late and were charged late fees with an eviction notice put on her door. My brothers car was stolen and the cameras, the "EXTRA" amenities, were not even working so the police could get nothing. What is the purpose of the cameras if they do not work? I would definitely recommend these apartments and would move back in if the manager was replaced with someone more customer friendly and professional (especially since the current manager takes time to write rude, unprofessional comments on this site!!!)
