They will screw you if you break a lease

My fiance and I broke a lease a while back.. They sent us many letters stating that we owed them $6000, when we already had a signed letter stating that the reletting fee along with everything else was only $2500 or so. We hired an attorney and he threatened them with extorsion. We are now only paying the $2500, but we had to go through a lot of hassel just trying to pay it off, the actual amount, and getting it taken off of our credit. The only reason it will immediately be taken off our credit when paid is because of the extorsion threat by attorney. To much hassel is one REALLY needs to move
