First, let me start by saying that I let my anger and impatience get the best of me when I wrote my review. I had just moved here, and only 4 weeks in Texas and the stresses of looking for work and a place to move my family had taken its toll. I still had that New York GET IT DONE NOW attitude and I spoke ( well Typed) before I let the staff perform their job. I apologize to the management and staff for my outbursts as they were just trying to do their job. My review of the Mansions was clouded by my own stresses and were given out of frustration. It was in no way caused by their staff. I once again apologize to the Managment,Staff and anyone who read my review. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

We do apologize to this potential resident, they have chose to cancel their lease after they have both signed, and been approved to live here. We would love to have them live with us, but it has been their choice to break the legal binding contract.
Notice: The Mansions by the Vineyard Apartments are a member of the Tarrant County Apartment Association, Texas Apartment Association, and the National Apartment Association. It has been our experience that very often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for non-payment of rent or other lease violations or who have never actually lived on the property. Be cautious in assuming the truthfulness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend that visiting with current residents on site is a more reliable method of obtaining third-party opinions about our apartment community and its management.

Were the staff supposed to throw a house warming party for this person or something? Sure, staff are really friendly when they are trying to make a sale - so are car salesmen and anyone involved in their industry. I found that the staff was fine afterwards too. There are friendlier communities, there are less friendly communities.
I will say this much - the manager's reply is pretty apt. They follow the TAA rules -- strictly. They aren't going to let things slide too much, so while some apartment communities will let you turn in your rent on the 10th and chat up the staff in order to put off paying your pet deposit, that's not going to really happen here.
Unfortunately, it's my experience that they might not work hard enough to smooth over an unpleasant situation if you are breaking the rules.
Say what you will though -- if you're on the receiving end, it stinks, but if you have a neighbor who poses a problem to the community, it's wonderful.
