I was told of this site by my friend that was in search of a new apartment home - she was checking out where I live as well as the area and I couldn't believe what she told me! I'm not usually a "blogger" but felt led to add my personal comments. I have lived here at the Mansions by the Vineyard for a little over a year now and can say I don't feel near the passion as some of these people! Yes, I have been inconvenienced at times because of the remodel construction; and no, not everyone picks up after their pets like I would like! However, all in all I feel like I live in the nicest apartments in the area. I could afford a house; however, I don't want the responsibility or the upkeep and like the flexibility renting affords me in this uncertain economy. Periodically, I am in the office to pick up a package and I have always been greeted professionally - I'm not their best friend and don't expect to be treated as such - just professional. I asked about the manager who is on vacation and was told it was just that - a well deserved vacation! I'm glad I'm not heckled about my vacation from work! I'll sum up my view - my father is "old school" and he had a phrase I heard over and over as a child - "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you cannot please all the people all time" - think about that one!
I hope you find what you are looking for in a home - as for me, I have!
