There is no way I would recommend living at Mansions by the Vineyard to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I can not leave my apartment without feeling like I am being undressed by the construction workers eyes. I live in constant fear that I am being stalked by one of those scary guys. I asked for background checks and got nothing. There are sex offenders and illegal immigrants swarming that property 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I do not feel safe. The speedbumps hurt my body (recently post-surgery) and my large car when I go over them. Please please listen to me. I would not rent my apartment for $10 a month if that were their "market price". Especially anyone thinking of moving here as a sinlge woman alone or with children, you will never feel safe. It is a very dangerous place to live and I have totally lost my peace of mind.

I truly believe that everything in this world that is evil (deceit, criminal behavior, illegal activities, invasions of privacy, thievery, fear, and betrayal) can be found anyday of the week and anytime of day at the Mansions by the Vineyard, my "home".

Please take this to heart. It's been the worst year and a half of my life. I want a home again. One where I can pull into the garage, open the door, and not feel like I am about to be attacked by the man who watches me leave and come home alone at the same time everyday. The lights are frequently out at night by my building and you can't even see from your car to the front door. I'm sorry if the office staff reads this, but you know it's true. It's very unsafe. it seems that nearly every week there is a stranger that has to enter my apartment for some reason. There are things missing now, and it's more than my peace of mind. Don't do it. It's not worth it.

I have lived here over 3 years as a single woman and do not even recognize your description. Outside of your overly active imagination, how could you tell a "sex offender" or "illegal alien" just by looking at them? There is absolutely nothing unsafe about the Mansions. I work for an airline and come and go at all hours of the day and night and never once have I felt alerted or unsafe. I wonder if your fear stems from the workers being men of color?

Have you been watching The Sopranos late at night? Paranoia will destroy ya! Seriously??! I have lived here for over 4 years. I am a single mother. I have never felt unsafe, or scared while living here. If you are that concerned for your safety, or items are missing from your apartment, why don't you either a) call the police, or b) speak with the office staff? Yes, there are several construction workers, but it's because they are here to remodel our homes. When they look and/or smile at me, I look and/or smile right back. Don't assume the worst. If you are parking in your garage, like you are supposed to, why would you need to see your car from the front door? You would just need to open the door that leads to your garage to see your car. As for the speed bumps, yes, they are large. I would suspect they are large for a reason - that reason being to slow people down. I am sorry for your surgery and hope all turned out alright. One question though, how fast are you taking those things for it to hurt? I can't help but be amused by your over exaggerated opion of where we live. Good luck in your quest for a new home. I hope you find everything you are looking for. I would recommend this place to anyone! I LOVE my home here!
