I have had no problems from staff and I LOVE The CaresTeam they have. HOWEVER, the place is so drafty and cold and my electric bills run from $220-$400. In the summer we paid almost $400 a month from June-September. We had a small break in Oct-Dec. But now that its cold it scares me how bad its going to be. Its way too draft. They need to work on insulation. And the dryer shafts suck. I have to run a dryer 2 or 3 times to get clothes dry because they keep getting clogged.

They also charge way too much rent. $1,400 per month and they dont include utilities. I bet they would upgrade insulation if they had to pay these outrageous apartment electric bills. I keep the house at 65 in the winter and 85 in the summer. We have suffered as far as the A/C and heating go :(

I just moved here in November and I am experiencing the same issues. My first electric bill was a few dollars shy of $300 and my 2nd bill was a few dollars shy of $350. The sad part about it is that it is still cold in here all of the time. My dryer takes 3 times at least to dry but they blame the appliance and the appliance company blames the dryer shaft/vent whatever it is. I advised the office when I moved in that I thought there was something wrong with the heating and of course I was ignored. But really what should I have expected, when I moved in the place was filthy, the bathroom wasn't even completely painted, just spot painted and to make things even worse, the items listed on my move in checklist were not fixed until the middle of January and I moved in mid-November. I'm sorry but I can't afford to pay $400 on electricity. Even if I could, why would I want to? Now if so many people are complaining about the same issues why are they not doing something about it? I contacted the corporate office and they are presently "researching" the issues. They run this place as if it was low-income housing. Last thing, the security gates that I have not had to use my card or code to get into except for maybe once or twice in November. When I addressed the issue with Sandy, the manager, she lied to me and told me that the gate was on a timer. LOL! As if I don't live here! no matter what time you enter or exit this hell hole the gates will be open.
