I have just moved here about two months ago and so far I'm not all that impressed with the management. My husband and I worked with one girl in particular and she is not knowledgeable at all of the property or it's rules and regulations. I'm pretty sure she's new, but management has her working on the weekends by herself, which I would think is the busiest time, and she seems very unsure of a lot of the questions we asked. I have met the manager and she seems really nice and I have met one other employee and that's it. They don't seem to have many employees and also their office isn't open on Sundays which was an inconvenience while we were looking on the weekends for a place. The only reason we chose this apt is because we liked the layout and for the price it was a good deal. I also find it inconvenient to have to take my mail to the post office or drop box since they don't have a outgoing box here. Also we bought a washer and dryer and I'm glad because the one time I did use the facilities they were dirty. If your looking for a friendly and knowledgeable staff you may be lucky to find any staff here! I realize the buildings are somewhat dated, but I think they need to invest some money in the appearance of this place. the last apt I lived in they were always keeping the complex clean and updating the landscape, and even getting new equipment for the gym, it made me feel like they were using my rent money for something worth while.

I would like to update this review and respond to the first comment. I am still not impressed with the management at these apartments. As for the appearance the management has taken steps to fix the roofs, and paint the outside, it looks a lot better. In my opinion the office is still under staffed and Ramona, who was the employee I was referring to in the review, is still very incompetent in my opinion. I recently gave her my rent and then a few days later we had a notice on our door saying we were being evicted because we had not payed our rent. When I called, Ryanne apologized and said she would take of it. It turned out that Ramona had posted our rent to the wrong account. I still think she needs more training or something and needs to be more careful when handling peoples rent money. To address the first comment, I realize our office is not huge, but I would expect more than one person to be working at all times especially on the weekends, no I don't expect 10 employees to be working. Also, if you read my review you would have noticed that I did state why I moved here in the first place, because of the layout and price. Trust me I wouldn't have moved if I didn't have to, we looked into staying at our previous residence, but couldn't afford their two bedroom or study.
Also, I agree with the reviews about the Hot Pink notices on our garages that they are very tacky. I think they should just give the mail person the notices to stick in our mail boxes, because they put those notices on apartments that are not even occupied and then they just end up staying there for weeks. Also, those notices really need to be proof read and/or spell checked, because there were several grammatical errors in many of them, which just confirms the incompetence of the people working in this apartment complex. In addition, our heating bill for the past few months was extremely high, so I think that the insulation in these apartments may not be very good. We do live on the third floor so I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but we also lived on the third floor in our last apartment and did not experience high bills like we did here. Again, if you are thinking of moving here don't expect much.

In response to your untrue statement about Oakmont, there are plenty of staff members in the office. What do you expect 10 office staff? duh.. And if you were so happy at your last apartment why didn't you stay there? Oakmont has been the best apartment I have ever lived in. The maintenance is great the staff is awsome and the property is very well maintained. I was told they are closed on sundays because there occupancy is always full, therfore they do not need to be open. In response to the outgoing mail, they do have outgoing mail in the office. It is safer that way!!

OCTOBER 6, 2007 OAKMONT OF BEAR CREEK, L.L.P. JOYCE HUMPHREY ??? PROPERTY SUPERVISOR 2121 BEAR CREEK PKWY ??? MAIN OFFICE EULESS, TX 76039 DEAR MS HUMPHREY: I am writing to document my complaints about Oakmont at Bear Creek???s current management style. First we get a threatening letter saying you are going to search our garages (by the way did you ever do so and what is happening to those residents who aren???t in compliance ??? of which there are MANY). Further the letter states any vehicles parked in front of garages without a white line ???will be towed without warning???. Next we get a letter giving us 2 days notice that we are to have our vehicles moved for the roofers or ???all vehicles that are not moved will be towed???. Two days notice is ridiculous considering many people in the complex may not even be home during that two days. I can guarantee you if my vehicle was towed, since I was not given proper notice and was out of town, you would be liable and reimbursing all towing expenses as well as a nuisance fee. We get notices that ???people will be fined for leaving trash out??? then you tape hot pink letters to every garage on the complex all the while you???re telling us you want to keep the complex looking nice (again are you implementing fines on those residents still putting trash out or are these more of your empty threats in an attempt to bring compliance?) There is NOTHING that looks nice about pulling into your ???house??? seeing pink papers flying off every garage in the complex. Are you kidding us??? Your management style is severely lacking and your threatening notices that do little but further trash up the complex are getting un-nerving. Furthermore, now we are forced to come home and find a flyer asking if we???d like to participate in a garage sell? At least it???s not one of your politically motivated flyers that you passed out last election season which were extremely unprofessional and biased. A garage sale? No wonder this complex has noticeably gone downhill in the last several months. It seems there is a clown running the complex, and it???s not even Halloween YET! Sincerely, A disgruntled tenant

I am a real resident and have to agree with the person who complained about the weekend girl. She's probably a nice person but she IS always there by herself and she IS an idiot, professionally speaking. I went to retrieve a package on a Saturday. She didn't want to get off her cell phone to help me so she told me to help myself to the package room. Meanwhile I could have stolen all the packages if I wanted and she would never have known. The management is very poor and I agree with the letter of complaint. The hot pink and hot red notices taped to our garages so so tacky and immature. I feel like this place is being run by a teenager.

I AGREE, THIS PROPERTY IS HIGHLY OVERATED! THE MANAGER IS THE BIGGEST ----- I HAVE EVER MET. YOU CAN NEVER ENJOY A DAY OFF OR A WEEKEND BECAUSE YOU HAVE SOMEONE BEATING ON THE ROOF OR JUMPING ON AND OFF YOUR PATIO. I GUESS SINCE THEY GAVE THE PROPERTY A LITTLE PAINT JOB THEY FEEL THE NEED TO RAISE THERE PRICES, BUT FOR WHAT? EVERYDAY THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE MOVING! I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT WOULD YOU STAY SOME WHERE WHEN THE SO CALLED MANAGER LOOKS AT YOU LOOK SHE IS HIGH AS A KITE WHEN YOU ARE EXPRESSING A CONCERN?......NOT! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, BUY A HOUSE CUZ THE RATES HERE ARE RIDICULOUS FOR THE LACK OF SERVICE YOU RECEIVE.
