I'll have to say that my perspective of these apartments has changed, and for the better. I will never claim that they are anywhere close to perfect, but they have won me back for the moment. I have lived in these apartments since March of 2004, and my current lease is up on June 30th. I admitidly went and looked at other apartments, because I really don't like living on the third floor anymore.. It gets old even though I think we're the only ones up there. Anyways, the other apartments that we were close to signing with tried to screw us out of $150, so I gave the Overlook another chance. They willingly gave us a $30 a month discount on our rent. Yes, the apartments are old, the electric bill can get a little high in the summer, the water is prorated, and the decor is a tid bit outdated, but for the money, and the large spaces they provide, I am happy with the fact that we decided to stay. If your looking for something on the cheaper side that isn't exactly brand new or perfect, I believe that the Overlook would be good for you.
