After 1 month of being here- I had my mountain bike stolen from someone who climbed up my balcony (and broke the wood facing) to get it. When I called the manager and talked to her about it, she laughed, explained that it was "bizarre" and then started defending her maintenance men right off the bat. My first electric bill came in at a whopping $262, and my apartment is always hot. The average water bill (I found out from the neighbor) is about $60 for a one bedroom. I have 2 bedrooms and haven't got my first one yet- I'll update everyone on that. My neighbor across the way sells drugs. Its great...and the manager laughed.
