Poor Customer Service

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
When I moved to this complex, the former owner was reasonable and it was a pleasant place to live. In June 2006, a new owner and management acquired the property. Immediately, the new management closed the clubhouse and main pool to renovate it, leaving residents without a workout facility, laundry facility and the best swimming pool during the peak use of Summer. When residents complained about the timing, management rudely disregarded the complaints and said they had the right to make the changes. Water rates have increased. While the management is trying to renovate the property, they are not doing the renovation in a way to minimize disruption to tenants. After 8 months, the clubhouse still remains closed. Management is trying to pass on the cost of renovating apartments in lease renewals. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a property owner that values its customer relations.
P.S. Another review commented that the old management let grass die. While management has recently placed new bermuda sod under all the large shade trees, any landscaper worth his salt knows that bermuda grass requires direct sunlight and cannot grow under a large shade tree. Next summer, the grass will die just like it did before. Maybe management will then plant a shade tolerant ground covering that will enhance the complex.
