Where to start...
First of all when we moved in the apartment was a wreck. Dirty counters, stains on the carpet, no baseboards, cracked tile, cracked bathtub, ants everywhere, the back door wouldn't lock... When we put in a request to have things fixed, they came over and painted('')where the baseboards were supposed to be, said that cracked tile happens when a building is old, when we asked about the ants they said that they don't do that work and they will have someone else to come out and spray. They had temporary guys working for them for a while because they were backed up on maintenance issues (RED FLAG).You have to ask over and over again to get things done. We have been living here for about about 5 months and someone came to fix something we had asked to be fixed when we moved in. Generally speaking the people that live here are decent, but the staff and conditions of the apartments are a deal breaker. Our air conditioning stopped working twice, the temp wouldn't go below 80 and it took them a week to look at and make a bunch of noise too see like they are fixing it and it wasn't fixed, to have it completely fixed it took about a week in a half. When our water heater broke they replaced it with a new one but when they took the old one, the rusty water in the bottom got all over our carpet. They said they would have it cleaned and they haven't But honestly I figure we are better off because we wont be nickel and dimed for the carpet when we leave! We went to tell them that raccoons are in the walls again YES RACCOONS, and the assistant manager sat in her office and never said a word while we told the maintenance guy what was going on... Something seems a little backwards about that. Its pretty said when the head maintenance guys are the only ones who are decent in this place. I have yet to see the Manager of the apartments although I have asked to speak with r many times. I walked in the office with my work uniform on and one of the pregnant sales staff asked if my work was hiring because she was getting screwed by property owners. Good sign....
All and all this place has been more hassle than I would have ever expected. When our lease is up We are leaving and never looking back!

I can attest to having to repeatedly remind them of maintenance requests. Careful on the carpet issue keep nagging to clean it and document everything! Because believe me they will try to get you for that when you leave that is if you believe other reviews of this place. I won't be renewing my lease this next time that's for darn sure! $2Million renovation is total bubcus and completely superficial because that was spread out to 3 or more complexes owned by CRES in the same area!

I agree about getting things done. I like the apartment itself and I like my neighbors, but man it is like pulling teeth when something needs to be fixed. For a while it got better, but it seems to have gotten bad again.
Also, when I moved in a yr & 1/2 ago, my apt was in horrible condittion too and they did not fix some of it. I was supposed to get new kitchen appliances, but they are old.
I too am thinking about leaving when my lease is up. But because I love the area so much I am torn.

The renovations they spoke of were for the clubhouse, not the actual apartments...we waited for two years just to get a microwave that was on back order and still haven't received it. We were also told that since the temps outside weren't above 80, fixing the ac wasn't a priority.
