I moved into these apartments June of 2004. I had agreed in my lease to pay an extra $10 monthly for my jacuzzis in the bathtub. Well there were NO jacuzzis in the apartment and the tile was discolored. I went to the office before moving in anything and asked them if they had another apartment available with the jacuzzi's. They said NO. So I asked them to take the extra $10 off my rent. They said NO. SO day one of moving in, I was already unhappy. From there I figured things would have gotten worse, but they didnt. I actually started liking the apartments and the management. When I moved in there was a drawer missing from the kitchen, and I was tild it had been ordered... I moved in June 1st and the drawer was not put in until August 20th. Now this is what has sent me over the edge- Under my bathroom sink there was a water leak. It molded all my bathroom towels and the bottom of the cabinet had mold all over it. I called the office and told them what was going on and that I wanted it tested for black mold. SUPPOSABLY, the maintanence guy sprayed some stuff on it and then he was going to replace the cabinet... this is August 21st I reported the problem... TO THIS DAY THE MOLD IS STILL UNDER MY SINK. I CALL WEEKLY AND THE MANAGER MAKES UP EXCUSES SAYING THAT SOMETHING BIG CAME UP AND HE WILL GET AROUND TO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. BS! In the meantime, my bathroom is messy because I have eveything that was under the sink now on top of my counter. This insedent is the reason I will be moving when my lease is up. Oh, and the remotes for the gates that they advertise, gimmick- evertime I call to ask about the remote they say they dont have any programmed right now!
