I have lived here since March 8th and it has been a nightmare ever since. When I moved in, the unit was not ready. I complained and some things were done. The maintenance was of very poor quality and usually either left a mess for me to clean up, damaged my property or both. Complaints to management fell on deaf, unconcerned ears. They told me that they would let me out of my lease (this after I was completely unpacked) because they could rent my unit immediately upon my vacating it. This basically told me that they didn't care whether I lived here or not, they could easily re-rent my unit so why should they try to make me happy.

I then complained to the corporate office which is located at an apartment where management is and this got me an immediate phone call and a visit from a regional manager. I felt this would take care of all of my issues. It didn't. I got further shoddy workmanship from maintenance, albeit more quickly than before, but it still left bathroom rugs ruined and ceiling texture on every piece of furniture we own.

I found out in April that my particular unit caught fire the December prior to my move-in which caught the entire fireplace and patio on fire and had to be torn down by the fire department to put out the blaze. This would explain a lot of the problems I am having with my unit but I was not informed of this occurance. So I was stuck with fire/smoke damaged carpet, a smokey smell in my son's room, water damage on the ceiling of my living room & masterbath, an extremely damaged a/c unit and on and on and on.

Management and the corporate office are a joke. Heather, the manager, is rude and condescending and once she has it out for you, the entire staff treats you like a leper. The two women at corporate, Wendy & Renetta, run a Mickey Mouse operation that has no more interest in following instruction than management.

I have been released from my lease, per my request, and am currently looking for somewhere else to live so that I can packup and move - again. This is an extreme expense when you consider movers and transferring all of my services but it will be worth it to be out of here. That's how bad it is.

Trust me when I say, do not move here. It is terribly expensive for what you get which is a 25 year old unit with creaky floors, old carpet, old cabinets, old everything. I have talked to numerous residents and they have had many of the same problems but cannot afford to move.
