This place was once a nice place to live but the bad management has changed all that. The manager fools you with her sugary sweet personality until you sign the lease. She is actually rude and her staff is racist. She insults your intelligence and blames the tenants for anything wrong with the apartments. Believe me, this place is falling apart. If I detailed every maintenance issue I had, I would be writing a novel. The maintenance is seriously incompetent and they fix the same things over and over. The tell you that it's fixed but, they always come back in a few weeks to fix it all over again. I liked the community of people but, this place is too small, old, falling apart, with seriously combative or incompetent staff. Stay away and move somewhere worth the money.
P.S. They charge too much for what you get.

I see some elements of those you raise: There is no preventive or predictive maintenance. Apparently it's just not in the budget. Landscaping is textured in one sense, but spotty in another. The area off my porch is always bare mud. Management has taken to arguing defensively when I was politely inquiring about peripheral issues like when the water bill suddenly doubled (it went back down after a couple months). But noise? I hear nothing from adjoining apts. No late-night parties spilling out into the parking lot. There's the airport, but all of Bear Creek has that. Parking? I've never seen more than 2/3rds of the spaces taken. Construction? Owned/occupied a house built in the last 30 years? All finish work is cutcorner these days. I didn't see or experience most of what you did, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen as you said.
