I am the new manager at Stoneleigh at Bear Creek. I started January 18th. I have been reading the comments and speaking with the staff regarding some of the issues listed on this site. I have given a resident survey to be able to better evaluate what needs to happen to make this the best place to live. The residents that I have met with have gladly given me great suggestions and input. I am looking forward to jumpling right in and fixing any problem area's that may have existed in the past. I would like to add that this is an absolutely beautiful property with many amenities. There is a club room with a full kitchen, tv's, a billiard table, shuffle board and bar tables. We also have a media room great for football parties, a computer center, a childrens play room with tv, 24 hour state of the art fitness center, as well as three swimming pools and a heated spa.
The residents that I have met so far have been wonderful. I would like to address one of the comments I read which was that was that management doesn't do anything about the noise. I would like to go on the record as saying that my guideline is "three noise complaints (verified by police or courtesy officer after hours) is grounds for eviction. Also, in the state of Texas if an arrest is made on the property, we can and will evict the resident within 24 hours.
I am going to kick off with a huge tenant meeting so that I can get suggestions as well as organize a crime watch group to help make sure that we remain a great place to live.

Consider doing background checks on the new tenants. It is apparent you do not have a system to weed out the trash. Might want to take some lessons from Fairfield on management of a multi-family property. Check out the pool situation this Summer. Better yet, how about a sign that says "any non-tenant in pool area that is not a guest will be ARRESTED IMMEDIATELY!"

"State of the art fitness center"? You have got to be joking. The equipment is very poor. The lat-pull down bar is broken, the pull down rope is missing, the weight pins are missing, the yoga balls and mats are gone, and the punching bag is gone. The weight room is pathetic, you obviously don't work out Tracy. I have live here for over a year and I won't be renewing. The tenants you have allowed in here are getting worse. Just wait until the summertime. The pool area will be destoyed by people that don't live here. In fact, I have seen many ex-tenants already at the pool and gym this spring. You really need to take a look around and fix this place. |
