I realize you have to lower your expectations when living in an older apartment complex, but living here was beyond low expectations. I lived in the one bedroom, one bath, with study apartment by the pool (my mistake there). The main problem living by the pool was that it was extremely crowded and noisy. Several times the police were called to calm fights at the pool. There is no security at the pool, so the majority of people swimming and lounging don't even live at Tall Timbers.
Despite the fact that I had noisy upstairs neighbors (who doesn't')who worked odd hours the biggest problem I had with the place was construction. The drywall was rotted and caved in from roof leaks, but every time i reported a leak the maintenance man amazingly never found any detection of moisture in the wall! Therefore I had several floods in both the bedroom and study that never got fixed. Even after my carpet was soaking wet from a flood, the management staff wouldn't approve me to have the carpet cleaned (the flood brought up a pet stain from the previous tenant). I didn't have a pet and the office tried to get me to put a pet deposit down! I had a flood in the kitchen because the cold water handle for the sink broke off in my hand, shooting water straight up to the ceiling creating a huge hole. I called the emergency maintance # and they told me (as I was standing in 2" of water) that it wasn't an emergency and they couldn't do anything for me. I had my dad come from 30 miles away to suck up the water with a wet vac - I saved the complex hundreds of dollars from having to replace my entire carpet and padding and they could have cared less.
If you don't care about the quality of the place you live in, than this is the perfect apartment complex for you!
