YOU DON'T WANT TO LIVE HERE !!!!!!!!!!!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I've lived in several apartments, but this place is by far the WORST!!! When I went to look at the apartment I was told $875.00 for the apartment. The managment seemed so nice, and freindly. I was told I would have a 150.00 pet deposit. I informed them that I had 2 dogs, and they said that was not a problem. So I gave them my application fee and deposits, and when I went to sign the lease, it said my rent was $975.00 a month. I told them they had quoted me $875.00 and they said not to worry, that I had a special, and that was the market rate. I was to get the first and last month free, and one month prorated over the year I lived there. So I move in, and 3 months later they send me a letter saying I owe them $300.00 for past due rent' They also said I owed them another 250.00 dollars as a pet deposit. So basically I had to pay them $550.00 that month or they were going to evict me. The maintenance here is terrible. It usually takes them a couple of days to get over and see the problem, and they never seem to fix it. They don't want to spend money on repairs, and I actually had one maintenance guy put duct tape around a leaky pipe under my sink. You basically have to threaten them with court to get anything fixed. My electric bill was $200.00 a month, and my water bill was about $35.00 to $40.00 a month. I asked them why my water was so high, and was told they divide everyone in the buildings water bill, and I had to pay a percentage. From July 28th untill sept 6th, I was out of the state for work. When I came home I found a letter on my door for an unpaid water bill of $43.00. How could I possibly use $43.00 worth of water when I was gone the entire month' The managment that I thought was so friendly when I was looking to lease became total witches after I had signed my lease. These 2 girls are so rude. They seem so put out to have to deal with you. The only time they are nice to you is when there showing someone new an apartment, and you happen to be outside when they go by. When I moved out after my lease was up, I was sent a $600.00 bill for cleaning the apartment. I had personally cleaned the apartment from top to bottom when I left, but because I didn't do a walk thru with the manager, there was nothing I could do. They even threatened that no one would ever rent to me again because they would give such a bad reference. They also told me they would put this on my credit.
