Complaints not all justified......

I am a leasing consultant for another community and am a previous resident of Tall Timbers. I know what is expected in this industry and some of the complaints I have read on here are simply funny. Do you really think the office staff has control over letting you pay your rent a month late or just get out of your lease' Everybody has a heart and we understand your sad stories but the lease you sign is leagally binding with the state of Texas and there is not much the office staff can do about that. Overall... I give this community a 4 out of 10. It depends on what you are looking for. If you are just needing a cheap descent place to live while you look for a house this is great. The comments are right about the pool, it was hardly ever open. I think they just need to get their staff pool certified so they can chemicalize it properly. A couple of things I have to mention, one: the charges for after you leave. Where I work, we know that you need to actualy live in your apartment. We are not going to charge you $5 for every nail hole and normal wear and tear. Out of my $200 deposit, I only got $30 back. Funny thing is, I know what needs to be done when people move out. That was just tacky. GET A COPY OF YOUR MOVE IN INVENTORY!! I found 3 things they charged me for that I wrote down when I moved in. If I would not have had a copy I would have been screwed. Another thing I agreed with a review too was the electric bill. Mine was never under $200. It even got as high as $320. For a 1000 sq. ft. apartment. My 2000 sq. ft. house was $180. (In September). It never worked. They were supposed to come every Friday to put freon in it but I would always have to call and remind them. The only way to fix it was for them to rip it all out causing us to have to move out for awhile, then move back in. Yeah right. They should have given me another option. Paying to move me to another apartment should have been standard with a serious a/c problem like that. Other than that, the parking was fine, Jackie in the office was always pretty great. There are however, tons of kids who seem to love those little scooters with the dreadfull horns. It those were outlawed, I would up my rating to a 5.
