Apartment Living near it's best.

I've lived at Tall Timbers for 2 years and 2 months. I've have rented other apartments and houses in the past, some nice, some not so nice and some well let's just say, keep your children, pets and cars inside if you want to keep them.
So as far Tall Timbers goes, they are nice, the grounds are very nice, always well kept and clean. The pool is cleaned regualarly and the hot tub has just been fixed within the last few months, which was an issue in one of the other comments here. Yes it was not working properly for about 9 months, but they were trying to fix it. It would work for awhile then stop working. But they finally got it working properly.
As for the staff, I've never delt with better. They will work with you if you have some patients and deal with them on a personal level, instead of treating them like just another business, realizing of course that they are. When I was trying to get out my lease 3 months early, it was going to cost $1800.00. But mind you that's only if the apartment doesn't rent before the end of your lease and even then they were willing to work with me on the last months rent so it wasn't going to cost as much. I ended up staying because the deal on this home I was looking at fell through.
The maintenance, I have had a few issues with the place, but usually the issues are resolved in a timely manner. At times they may be delayed and you might need to remind them, especially if you ask them about it in passing rather then going to office and requesting a work order. Every issue has been resolved, without question or consequence, to include my breaking the garbage disposal with rocks from my fish tank.
As with anyplace though, I'm sure some people may have problems that I don't see. but from my point of view, it's been the best apartment living I've ever had.
The only thing I do agree with from the negative reviews was the posting of late notices, INSTANTLY if not sooner. One day late and yes the eviction notice is on your door. Be late with a water bill and yes you'll get an eviction notice for the $13.00 to $25.00 water bill. But once you actually sit down and talk to them, you realize they post it for legal reason, not ot evict anyone. In order to get any legal actions started they have to follow a set protocol and that includes written notification and proof of notifcations. So they are prompt about that. Other then that, I've had no major problems with the complex at all.
Issues with rent, none in fact they are doing some work and plan to increase the rents within the next few months. They gave current tenants the opprutunity to renew thier lease for an additional year at thier current rent, plus offered half a month free rent to be taken either on the first month of the new years lease or prorated over the 12 months, so instead of my rent increasing it is going down by $27.00 a month. I have yet to see a decrease in rent from any of my previous renters, apartments or houses, it's always been about a 3 to 5% a year increase.
