Apartment Staff are Complete Idiots!

I currently rent an apartment and have had to turn in maintenance requests every month that I have lived here. Only about a quarter of the requests have been filled. OR they have a contractor come in and don't follow up on their work. My roof was leaking and I had water damage to my ceiling. The contractor came in to fix it and said they would be back on Monday to paint the repair. That was in June. I've complained every month and nothing has been done. I have also had to have my subfloor repaired in the living room. They supposedly said no other rooms needed repair and now my bedroom and bathroom need repair. When they did fix the living room floor, the contractor forgot to relay the carpet and tore the carpet. We requested moving to another apartment (being that we've only been there for 7 months with all these reapirs) and they have ignored our phone calls, told us on several occasions to come back another day, etc. I also had to request they change the air filter in my air conditioner due to the fact I had a $370 electric bill for a 1 bedroom apartment! This complex wants to be picky about what the tenants do but will not follow their own leasing guidelines.

Im Sorry you are not Happy at Tall Timbers. With the "problems" you have had in your 7 months of living here I'm surprised you would want to transfer. Yes we are picky about the way our Community looks. We want to keep our community beautiful for all of our Residents. The Tall Timbers staff does take pride in making all of the residents happy. That is why we attempt to make several calls to the resident about any issues however when the calls are ignored unfortunately it leaves no choice but a Lease Violation. To transfer you must meet certain requirements 1. Must have lived in your apt for more than 6 months. 2. The current apt must have positive payment history (that means no NSF's). 3. The current apartment can not have any lease violations (including patio lease violations). 4. The current apartment must have a 0 balance. 5. The Manager of the property must walk your current apt before the on-site transfer is approved. I hope this helps you to understand the requirements to transfer.
