I paid a 300 dollar deposit plus a 200 dollar fee for not having rental history. The staff said my apartment would be ready on a certain day and I came by and picked up the keys. When I walked in the apartment, there was a maintenance man standing there and the place was a wreck, and the smell was horrible.

The carpets looked dirty, there was a chip above the dish washer in the kitchen, the bathroom mirror had smudges on it, and the bathtub was filthy. I was horrified and requested a different apartment.

The girl on staff told me that they would clean the apartment completely and call me when it was ready. When the apartment was "officially ready", I came in and took a look and the carpets were clean and it generally looked a lot better, but after further inspection I saw that parts of the apartment were flooded! There was flooding all over the bathroom, and when I put a towel on the towel rack it broke! Also the area by the washer and dryer was flooded as well. Plus that smell was still there.

The place was unlivable, so I asked for my money back and told them I didn't want to move in. They said because I signed a legal document that I wouldn't receive a penny of my 500 dollars back! odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
