They pulled a bait and switch on me, they showed me a model and told me there were no others to look at at that time until i signed a lease. Yes i was stupid and in a hurry. There were fights in the parking lot. Drug dealing. People hanging out and lots of load rap music. gun shots on several occations, i had to escort my girl friend to and from her car she was affraid. i dont know were u live but it is not here there has not been any gun shots and no fights in the parking lot or police frequently

I don't know who responded to this, but they must not live at vaucluse. police are here multiple times a day, I haven't heard gunshots, but have seen and heard fights often.

I lived there for almost 2 years and was very displeased with the lack of care that went into the community. My child was kicked in the head from a group of "thuggish" kids, and while the ambulance was on the way, the mother of the child that kicked my child was coming at me...talk about leading by example. I was at the pool one night when gun shots went off not 2 buildings over, and the "perp" went running by laughing while the police were chasing him! Dead birds in the cesspool of a pond, lies from management, and I ALWAYS went out the way that I was instructed for the gates...IF I could get out...half the time the darn things were broke down, and then they left them open and ANYONE could get in! I agree that they did not do background checks, and I knew for a fact that there were methamphetamine cooks living there from discussions I had with the police that frequented my hotel that I worked at, also frequented the Vaucluse Apartments...more than 5 or 6 times a day. Heck, they used to sit in the parking lot of the Diamond Shamrock WAITING for the NEXT call to come in. If you have bad credit, or bankruptcy, or on a sexual predator list...THIS is the place for you! Come on in and ruin the community a little more! New owners have obviously not changed things much since I moved out over 3 years ago!
