The GOOD:

I lived in these apartments from early 2004 - end of 2005. When I was there, I had a fairly good experience with the staff - Every time I'd put in a service request, they were usually there within a few days. It wasn't immediate, but it was adequate.

The good thing about this apartment was that it was very quiet, overlooked a nice park, and is close to dfw airport.

The BAD:

The complex changed hands from skywest to another management company in mid 2005 (can't remember which one). The manager forced me to pay my rent by Money order because I had one check bounce when I first moved in, due to lack of payment from my employer.

The new management was not at all frendly, and if they're still there you should look elsewhere. The space saver washer and dryer set I was renting from them constantly broke down, and after several complaints, they refused to fix it. I told this new management group that the dryer never dried the clothes correctly, and they told me "well, that's how it is."

The grounds were NOT well kept! The dumpster was always overflowing and racoons were king at night -- rummaging through the garbage that had been left there for DAYS. The 'trails' all smelled like hot dog feces!

I also felt that it was seriously over priced for the floorplan. I later got a similar apartment in North Arlington for about $150/month LESS than what I was paying for this, plus the washer and dryer along with covered parking were FREE! On top of that, this new complex gave me a $500 TARGET gift card!

When you look for an apartment, look elsewhere, as this complex is not worth the hassle and the price.The bad definitely outweigh the good!
