During the 18 months that I have lived here, the water has been seriously messed up. We have hot water and we have cold water, but we frequently don't have both at the same time! During the times that we have only hot water, you can't wash your clothes without ruining them and the water is often too hot for a comfortable shower. Even when we have both hot and cold water, it is impossible to regulate the temperature. During a shower, the water cycles back and forth from hot to completely cold. Needless to say, it isn't pleasant to shower here, and I doubt that there has ever been a full week that the water worked properly. Management has been trying to fix the water problem for years, even calling in engineers on many occasions, but they can't seem to get it working properly.

Additionally, there are problems with the central air conditioning units. This is an older complex, and very few of the original units have been replaced. My old unit was inefficient, never really got my apartment very cool, and broke down several times during the hot summers. Fortunately, it finally gave up the ghost, and they had to replace it.
