I am usually pretty forgiving of apartment people, I mean you pretty much have to be or move out, but I lived at VOPO for 3 years and it is absolutely the worst place I have ever lived. Mice problems that I had to take care of myself, AC constantly breaking down, gate that never worked, having your car towed without any notice, constant thefts from the complex, problems with hot water that never got fixed. When I had a problem with my toilet that leaked water all over the bathroom floor, maintenance got there pretty quick, but they used every one of my clean towels to clean up the mess and then threw them in my bathtub. But the final straw was when I had a leak in the ceiling of my bedroom for 3 months while management did absolutely nothing. I had to sleep in my living room because the ceiling had turned brown, dripped water any time it rained, and was covered in mold that made my apartment smell horrible. And managements response was pretty much Sorry, but your SOL. The place is cheap, but in actuality it is way too expensive. People have posted here that you get what you pay for, but not at VOPO. At VOPO you pay cash and what you get is screwed. STAY AWAY!!!

If you think that statement means that you literally walk into the office and hand them a stack of bills, then you're an idiot. It's obvious the point is that you don't get what you pay for.
