Their monthly water billing is a form a monthly rent increase, you can either pay it or ignore it and be evicted! When I first moved to Westdale Hills in 03/02 there was no separate water bill. Starting in 10/02 the water bill was mostly under $5/month for the next several years. Then in 09/08 and 10/08 the water bill jumped to over $20/month. Then for 11/08 the water bill increased to over $30/month! Is there no end in sight?! They can charge whatever they want for the water! I am only one person living in a small one bedroom apartment and I am not using any more water than when I first moved in. I realize that sometimes rates may need to increase but this is outrageous! Also, I have to wonder if all the residents are actually on the lease and if not, then management doesn't know that they are living there and they are not paying their share for water!

Keep your apartment clean and you will not have a bug problem.

I was in the office last week and like always the so called "manager" was in her office sitting with the other "harpie" that walks around like she is all that and a basket of apples. They were talking about some of the other employees, yet I was told that the manager was "in a meeting" and I would have to wait. Righttttttt. You would think that the employees would bend over backwards to help you but instead you get rude maintenance helpers in the back office who talk to you like its MY fault that I had black mold in my kitchen, bathroom, and bathroom. You get 2 people in the accounting office who refuse to give you any explanation on why my water bill was over 75 bucks! The one accounting girl who dresses (and smells BAD) frumpy can't take 5 minutes to look professional and at least sponge bathe the stench off. But she would have to tear herself away from sending pornagraphic pictures (I seen it with my own 2 eyes because she didn't get the screen down quick enough) via email and she visits other "adult sites" too. The other one in that office isn't as bad but can be rude when you ask a simple question. Seriously does their main office not monitor their computer usage and email? I can put up with only so much but when a person gets CUSSED AT in an office is just too much. Nt lease is up in 2 months and I am outta here! My friend and I think the stinky one and the other one in accounting office should work in Oak Cliff, they would fit right in! The one leasing agent gave me the home office information so I shall share with everyone. I would like to state that legally they can't remove the following website because it is our right to inform them what kind of "professionals" they have working for them. www.westdale.com

I have a one bedroom apt and pay 15 per month. I do not see that as a bad cost since the rent is so cheap. Other places will charge you more I know. .50 a day is not a bad deal

the water is probably allocated, meaning it's an average of everybodies use not just yours. That's how the majority of apartments, especially older ones, do their water billing. There is one meter, so even if you don't use the water for a month you will still have to pay a water bill..hate to break it to you, but it's most likely in your lease.
