I didn't think they really existed. I thought they were just an old wives tale. I have now discovered that bedbugs are real and once they invade your space they are nearly impossible to get rid of. I moved here in July 2007. I started noticing I was getting bites about 6 months later. Then they started waking me up in the middle of the night cause you can feel them crawling on you. They look like little roaches but the little blood suckers make nests in your bed and it is horrible. I did internet research on them, I have put down powders, sprayed, fogged and I wash my sheets every 2 days, they keep coming back! The apartments put out a notice that there was going to be exterminaters coming out to treat the apartments but none showed. I later found out that you had to request them and that I would be charged for it! A person I work with recently moved out of the apartments. He said that he had them also and that the only way he got rid of them was to get rid of most of his furniture when he moved and start over with new...oh yeay. I am moving out as soon as my lease is up...guess I will be sleeping on the floor of my new residents for a while.
