I am a single mom and I moved to this apt complex right after I left an abusive husband. The apartment manager, Cheryl, was the nicest person I had met in a long time. She REALLY helped me as best she could. I had bad credit and she helped me find away to meet the requirements for this place, which are much more strict than the surrounding section 8 places.
I have lived here since Jan 2005 and I like it fine. It does the job. My neighbors are sometimes shady and I have heard about car breakins, but I generally like it here. I don't always feel the safest, but this is a pretty crappy area. Ghetto people are always loitering at the gas station on post oak. This place is the nicest in this area. My boyfriend lives in Paradise Hills which makes this place look like the Taj Mahal.
The friendly management and good maintenence people really make this place pretty good.
