Yesterday was my first night... and it truly was a nightmare!!! The staff lied about many details to get my wife and me to sign the contract (which, by the way had so many errors that I'm not going to annoy you with the details). They're (staff) only after your money $$$. Once they get cash, they will disappear and blame others for whatever problems. For instance, they promise me that electricity will FOR SURE be connected, guess what' It wasn't! Right now is winter time (nights are getting pretty cold in Texas) and I had to spend the night in the dark and cold!! This is ridiculous! The apartment was all dirty and had bugs all over the sink and bathrooms areas. The walls are so thin that you can hear people three levels above or below you. On top of that my next door neighbor (bless her heart) played loud music till very late at night. To be honest, the neighborhood is pretty weird, it truly is a ghetto place... It seems a joke, but for someone coming from out-of-state, when you do the tour don't get tricked, it is all a bunch of lies. Just look at how many reviews were posted with negative comments. Is everybody making up stories for the last few years' NO! I made a terrible mistake of signing up the contract in a hurry because of the pressure to move from the hotel. Remember the price is cheap, but YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY. Or even worse, less than what you deserve. Please, be very careful before signing anything. Make sure you have all of your questions answered and talk to some of the tenants, they will tell you why they hate the place. I am luck that it is only for six months. I hope I can endure that much...

oh well your fault not ours. stop complaining and get on with it. or get a house u clown. dont you realize the economy is bad? we are now in a depression almost and you are complaining about having a place to stay. in war torn countries they never sleep in peace you are so ungrateful.and you are just a ghetto as the one you complain about. i bet you eat pork...lol

Is that response REALLY from Cameron Creek staff? How unprofessional! Those were valid complaints, especially when you consider that it's a BUSINESS, not a Red Cross charity service in Africa. Do they really want their business to be compared to a "war torn country", because that's what it sounds like! Wow, 5 years olds should not be given jobs at McDonalds, much less an apt. complex! By the way, I was looking into leasing at Cameron Creek. Thanks to the above response from the staff I think I'll be looking ANYWHERE else. Great business practices. You'll be "feeling" that bad economy when you have no job.

Guess your thoughts worked, the owner got rid of that management company and the office staff. I think everyone should give the new team a chance to improve on maintenance and resident issues. The fence out front got fixed.

the new management does seem a bit better. but there is this woman named Cathy that works thre now that is about the size of a small mobile home and a very rude rude woman. i currently live here. this woman cathy acts like u have just put her out because u complain of the ungodly amount of ants, or loud neighbors, or the fact that the gate doesnt work and hasnt in months. this is a depressing place to live.
