I moved into Candletree in February of "05
not knowing what I was in for. This was still before the new management company took over and things were still rosey there. In the year I had my apartment broke into on two different occassions, an attempted break in on new years, maintenance mean stole from my apartment while sitting in there when they should be working watching tv and drinking, a shooting in front of my door, did all the maintenance stuff myself because they refused to do it and ignored all requests,cars got broken into daily and drug deals went on in front of anyone and everyone. No children are safe to play there. I tried to break my lease over and over for not feeling safe and telling them they are not holding up their part of the contract they were always very rude and said they would see me in court before I would get out of my lease. Even after someone was shot right in front of my door. They refused to let me leave I stuck it out for about 6 months after the new management team came in and kept giving empty promises for it to get better and it just kept getting worse and worse. I finally left at the end of my lease when everyone knew it was turning into section 8 and they refused to inform the residents. They also never told anyone when something happened at the apartments like a shooting etc......
it was awful I hope they close this place down and dont make that area of hulen any worse than it already is.

Unfortantly the TAA lease aggrement only releases those from the lease that are Military. As a manager I apoligize that the previous staff did not follow up with request and criminal activiy. However, I am happy to annonce that we have now made several changes to the staff as well as to the property. We hope that this will be a better place to call Home for the future.
