CONS
Cheap framing of interior (biggest problem) - The walls are just about hollow; you can hear your neighbor s conversations, etc...
Your upstairs neighbor will sound like they are stomping on the ceiling when in fact they are just walking about normally.

Pool and other facilities are frequently used by non-residents (especially the pool), which leads to overcrowding and beer cans and trash being left around these areas.

Gym states that it is open til 10pm, when the doors electronically lock at 8:45pm
Gym also has people who will turn up the radio to the highest volume, regardless of who else is using the facility.

Only one choice for cable/internet provider, depending on what phase you re in; satellite TV possible if your balcony/porch faces South.

Have to drop off mail at Post Office or the Property s office due to theft of mail

Covered parking is $35/month extra

This might be the only truly objective review on here. I've lived here for 3 years and can verify all of the pros and cons on here. Don't believe those who say The Canyons is a slum and don't believe those who say this is the Garden of Eden. Like any place, there is good and there is bad. This review says it all.
