I've only lived at Coffee Creek for less than a month, but already I'm nervous about it. I should have asked more in-depth questions about the crime rate in the complex, but I've been hearing bits and pieces. The son of an employee at Coffee Creek informed me that there are approximately 13 drug dealers within the complex and now that I've read about people being held at gunpoint and cars being broken into, I'm sure as hell glad I'm a poor college student with a piece of crap car. In any case, I never would have moved in if I had known the facts. The apartment staff must know all that goes on, but they don't bother to volunteer any of this information to any prospective tennants. My apartment was newly painted and carpeted when I moved in and there haven't been any major problems so far, but I have a feeling it will only be a matter of time.
