Upon move-in, I could not believe how dirty the apartment was. I may just be really picky...but I thought I would share my experience:
The bathroom drawers were freshly painted; howver, they were NOT cleaned out before the paint was laid over it, so the dirt and hair are stuck in there. Same thing witht he baseboards throughout the house...they are not cleaned and then they were painted which makes them look VERY dirty and dusty.
The oven was not plugged in, so we moved it out and there was TONS of grease and crumbes on the side and on the ground. Disgusting. I just thought that I would be moving in to a clean apartment. The fans weren't just a little dusty, they were COVERED with extreme dust.
They said they had painted the walls a week in advance, but once we moved our leather sofa in and put it against the wall...we soon found out the wall was still wet...and now all over our expensive leather coach (our fault).
We also had an issue with an electrical outlet catching on fire and it never got fixed (we never inforced it to get fixed either).
Also, the walls must be thin, because we always got a BIG wif our our neighbors smoke and it filled our apartment.
Just be careful and ask to see the apartment before move in and before you sign your lease.
We had a break-in below us once and our gas got siffened out of our truck, but other than that it was pretty quiet. The ladies in the office are nice enough. The pool looks pretty, but I never got the chance to use it.
It would be a good place to live while going to school, but just wasn't for us starting a family and being picky about cleanliness.
