This is my story.

The day of my move in, walked into my apartment only to find that it was very unclean and not ready to be moved into.

There was literally hair, dirt and debri painted over on the window ledges, doors, baseboards, insides of some of the drawers and walls. The sinks, tub and toilet were very dirty and uncleaned, not to mention many things that were broken and needed to be replaced. There was overspray on cabinet doors, walls, floors, door handles and new carpet. The tile floors, blinds and ceiling fans in the entire apartment had not been cleaned. The upgrades were not complete and the apartment smelled very musty like it had mold and water damage. Sure enough, under the kitchen cabinets, water lines and mold were found on the particle board, kick panels and in the second bedroom were the sheet rock had been damaged and was breaking apart. The wires to my alarm and phone had been destroyed by the carpet layers and had to be replaced. The patio had overspray on the concrete, the fireplace mantle and tub both had burn marks in them. I brought all this information immediately to the attention of my leasing agent. She told me that she and the office manager would personally walk my apartment the next business day (Mon.) to visually see it's condition. The next business day came and went. I contacted my leasing agent again the next day (Tue.) to find out why they did not show up to evaluate my apartment. I was told by the apartment manager that it would be done on Wed. of that week. That did not happen either. I was here all day, both days. No one showed. Maintenance showed up the very next day with a work order. Still without my leasing agent and or apartment manager to visually see my apartment. So, I took pictures to verify my findings.

Needless to say, for the first month and due to the fact that many repairs and finish work still had to be completed in my apartment, was not able to completely move in.

Since I have been here of which, has only been a few months, the electronic gates have not worked the majority of the time. If a residents code or card is not working, he/she is left with having to wait until someone does come along whose code or card is working. By this time there is usually a long line and people are left to resort to other means of getting in.

There has also been a great deal of crime in this apartment complex and the police have been called out numerous times in the past few months. This has been confirmed by the apartment manager attaching letters to each residents door and by the Fort Worth PD's crime report that patrols this area. I will not elaborate on the type of crime but one can find out by contacting the FWPD in regards to this specific apartment complex. Granted there is crime every, however, there is a big difference in the types of crime that take place in different areas.

The office staff is great. However, being a great office staff truly does not make up for the lack of everything else.

In closing I will not be renewing my lease.

They probably badgered you to renew your lease and then had the nerve to ask WHY you were not staying...ha!

lol! I don't think staying is an option. To many issues that the parent company truly needs to address in order to make Coffee Creek a great place to want to live.
