For the last two months I have complained about a scratching in the bedroom and living room ceiling and walls of my apt several times. It took them over 1.5 weeks to even look into the situation. On two separate occasions the situation was looked into. The first time they reported that there was nothing wrong. The second inspection noted that the insulation was pulled back over my living room in the crawl space. The outside facade was checked for cracks and I was told that they would put traps up there and would get the pest control guy to fix the problem. Pest control never came the scratching continued. I went away to NY for 2 weeks for the holiday season in december and returned the 4th of january. That night while i fell asleep on the couch, a rodent ran over me while i slept. I was highly upset and i told the management office about the situation. they told me "it's was just a mouse or a squirrel" and that they were "harmless" and that the maintenance man would set a sticky trap later on that day. he never came that day and he almost didnt come the next day either. I went to the management office around 5 pm the next day "Friday the 6th to complain and they said that the maintenance man would set the traps right away. they also stated that the pest control came over to fix the situation in the crawl space but my inside top lock was locked so he left. I was home all day on friday. I asked them why didnt he call my phone they didnt answer that question. then I asked them when would the pest control man be back they said next friday the 13th. when I returned from a business trip for that same weekend on monday 9/9/06 I fell asleep on my bed and when I awoke I noticed plaster on my bed and near the side of the bed. I was like "where did the plaster come from". When I looked up I noticed a 4 inch hole in my bedroom ceiling. I became highly upset, but I couldnt do anything about it till the morning. I couldnt rest cause the rodent was never caught in the living room and there was a big hole over my bed. the next morning i called the corporate and district office to complain about the situation. they said they were doing their best to fix the situation. The maintenance men came in within in a hour of reporting the new incident and checked the crawl space replastered the ceiling and patched the hole in the roof from outside. They also set a chlorine pellets to fume the crawl space out and checked the sticky traps. no rodent found. I was upset i packed all of my clothes and left to find a new apt. when i came back continued to pack i went to take out my trash at 7pm. i forgot something so i went to get it but i left the door open when i got to the door a friggin opossum ran out my house!!!! I freaked the hell out and started screaming and crying. I called the health department already, but they're getting another call in the morning. As for me staying in the apt tonight, I dont think so. I m making arrangements to stay at a friends house. i found an apt today that I can move into several blocks away this weekend. This has got to be the worst experience of my life. I hope I can put all of this behind me and just move on, but im traumatized

Let me ask you a question.....if you owned a home and you had a rodent in your attic would you move from your home? I do not understand why you move over this...It ponders me. As stated in the other review did you not look outside to see the surrounding to realize there are trees and a creek. I love it because of those things. Based on your review it appears the office was trying to help you every way they could. Man give them a break! Quit complaining....Traumatized....I think that is extreme. As I stated in my reveiw I love it here and I have really appreciate the office, they have been very helpful.

It sounds to me like smiley12 works for Greenwood Ceek... No one is this offended over other people's opinions on why they moved apartments other than the management. The rodents are a serious problem. They woke me up almost every night scratching and I am a HEAVY sleeper. The office is in such denial that they put "job relocation" as the reason why I moved out on my deposit refund slip. I laughed long and hard at that one.
