Moved in in 2005--utility bills were approx $60.oo per month. They have climbed to $250.oo as of this month--July 07. Every summer we get hit with an outrageous bill as well as an outrageous reason. Last year we had an excessively high bill and were told by the manager that Ft Worth meter readers had been underestimating useage and had corrected the billing. After numerous complaints and some occupants calling Ft Worth we found that that was not the case, and then and only then management adjusted our bills. Again we have recieved super high utility bills and have been told there was a problem with the meter readers underestimating the usage. After contacting Direct Energy and being referred to electric delivery, and with TXU stating they have not raised electric rates since Jan 2006, with no knowledge of any misrerad meters or underestimation of usage, by Sandra of TXU, maybe you can figure out if you need this type of problems with a landlord. I as well as the majority of the occupants are fed up. Don't believe me ASK ANY OF THEM !!
