Hillside Apartments

Great location, great service! From: roboticmonkey Date posted: 5/12/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   I've lived in Hillside for 2 years and recently bought a house; I'll be really sad to leave this place. I've lived in 4 different apartment complexes and have never been as pleased as I am at Hillside. I've had very few maintenance issues, and the ones I've had have been fixed the same day every time. Janna & Lynda are both really nice ladies and provide excellent service -- a stark contrast to the college-age girls who work at most complexes that are just counting down the minutes until the office closes (whether they resolve your issue or not). There is some noise from the trains, but I got used to it within the first couple of weeks and I barely notice it now. It doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night or even from a nap. All of my neighbors are great; there's a really wide range of ages which is very cool. My only (very minor) complaint is that my rent has gone up quite a bit since I moved in, but it's still much cheaper than most places downtown. There's a very good reason Hillside has an occupancy rate near 100%. If you're looking for an apartment downtown, you really can't beat this place.
