At first the community seems very nice, but after living here for a year you find out how horrible it really is. The noise is a problem, the apartments are poorly insulated (thus expect to pay a lot on your heating and cooling bills) and you can hear everything. It's close to the base so you can hear every plane taking of and landing. Not to mention the firehouse is next door and you can hear that all night long as well. People don't use leashes for their dogs and do not clean up after them at all, its disgusting. The children here are very obnoxious and will run around at all times of the night especially summer running in the middle of the road being extremely loud (so loud I can't here my television). The security gate is always broken or malfunctioning. The apartments are cheaply maintained everything breaks or malfunctions all the time. For instance someone before me obviously had a kid that stuck stickers everywhere and wrote in crayon on the windows. The painted over the stickers didn't bother with the crayon and failed to replace the tired and overworn carpet. The cops have been called here at least six times since I've moved in and there is drug activity here. The water gets turned off at least twice a month for five to six hours at a time. We never had a problem with anyone we are very quiet individuals hardly home. When a new group moved in downstairs they kept sending bogus complaints to the managers. The management without recieving proof gave us a lease violation based on one person's account (they had only live there for three months)! It really upset me because we have had several groups of people live downstairs and never a complaint. It was unfair and personal because the people downstairs were close friends with management. The blantently lied to us about settling the matter as I've come to find out recently. Management is less then helpful when it comes to tenant problems! Very unprofessional! Grateful to have moved!

My point is reinerated by management's response above. What apartment community manager gives such an unprofessional offensive response to an ex-tenants problem and complaints. I didn't live at this community for over a year because I wanted to, because we could not afford to move at the first lease renewal. Take heed to the response above it only get's worse. Very unprofessional! There are much better apartments out there!

The staff had always been professional and helpful the entire time that we lived there. Maybe you should look for a retirement home to move to so that you will not be bothered by typical children and thier behavior. Here's a newsflash: CHILDREN ARE EVERYWHERE! AND I BET YOU YOURSELF WERE A CHILD ONCE!

I lived at Hunter Park for 4 years before my job took me elsewhere and it was wonderful! The only issue we had were water roaches and management could do nothing about that. They did have someone come out as often as I wanted. Karen was the manager when I was there and was the greatest. If Western Hills Primary wasn't the school the school my kids would have to go to, we'd move back! Thanks!

"CHILDREN ARE EVERYWHERE!"

What a ludicrous statement.

Yes children are everywhere the difference is people who care about their children running in front of moving cars and those that do not. I am appalled that the first response was from a professional of the managment community. If that isn't an indication that the original poster was dead on I don't know what is.
