Terrible to this military service member

I'm a U.S. Marine and I lived at this apartment complex for a year and a half. Not because I wanted to but because well as those of us in the military know not alot of money. The management at this place where completely unhelpful and vindictive. The neighbors even got away with making a false police call. Nothing was done to fix this at all. Every time I came home to this place from one of my flights or a deployment it was more drama. My Wife and I tried to get things sorted out with management but if you read the other listings here, the neighbors downstairs and the management where working together in a scam to get us out. I think they don't care much for military, even though they do have a discount rate for military, but heck most apartments these days do. Also I think the reason why they (the neighbors downstairs) harrassed us until we moved out of the apartment is I am white and my wife is black and ever since the people downstairs moved in all I've heard was quiet whispers from them to friends and having them stare me down and shake their head. I think they had a problem with an interracial couple. I've never thought I'd feel uncomfortable in my own apartment, that's saying alot being a Marine and since I've been in worse places namely some desert place thats always on the news. I am trying everything I can to make sure that my fellow military service members know what they are getting into heck anyone for that matter. My advice is to go somewhere else. Ask yourself, do you really want to live in a place where the managment would do such things'

I posted a review as I lived here previously and wanted to add a side note since I have read this review. My husband is black and I am Hispanic. We NEVER felt out of place or had other problems with the staff in regards to being an interracial couple. Sounds to me like you are the one singling yourself out. What is the big deal??? This is 2005 not the 1950's.

Did you live near these neighbors that I had? If you did and you didn't have any problems then I am glad for you. No one should have what was done to my wife and I done to them. In response to the living in 2005, well yes it is 2005 I would think people expecially those runing a business would be more open minded. All I ask is that those looking at this place think again. there are plenty of places out there.
