Slow as a snailıs pace

Lakeview, AKA Lago Vista, is a pretty good place to live. Iıve never felt unsafe or in danger, Iıve got a nice lake view, the apartment itself is nice. The area is good, lots of familes are here with their children and itıs never too loud. I mean you get the occassional bass booming through the parking lot, but never anything thatıs unbearable or irratating unless you live by the tennis courts or the pool. The property is kept well, they maintain everything very well, especially in spring and summer. The only problem that I have is with the leasing agents and management. Any time Iıve ever asked for anything to be done with the upkeep in my apartment has always taken forever to get around to. 2-3 weeks go by and youıre still waiting for things to get done, you call back to see what status youıre at and they say "Oh, Iıll give so and so a call this week and get that done for you." Then 2 more weeks go by and still nothing. I remember the quality of my water being cloudy and I really did not want to drink it and they still havenıt done anything about that, so now I just buy spring water and drink that rather than tap water. And Iıve waited over a month and a half to have my carpets cleaned, which was supposed to have been offered to me when I renewed my lease a few months before, but it was never offered. I gave them a call, waited a couple of weeks like I should, nothing, called again, nothing, called again and sent a letter by fax and reminding them to do their job and they tell me that the carpet cleaning co. sent them an invoice stating that my carpet was cleaned 3 weeks ago!! (') My carpet was not touched, it was not damp like it is when it is cleaned, it did not smell like it had been cleaned, the same stains that are there have been there for the last 4 months. So anything that is asked of them, they move at a snailıs pace to get things done, if they even get it done. I would think that with me being a good tenant, pay early and never have complaints on me that they would be more appreciative and do what theyıre are asked to do, but see they have a bunch of 20 year old girls running everything, when they need to get some mature, knowlegable people in the office getting things done and know what theyıre doing. I donıt how these people got a job working there. Obviously, knowledge of leasing is not an employment requirement of theirs. I remember on 2 or 3 occassions they put late slips on my door stating that I had not paid my rent, when I paid a week to 2 weeks early! And friends of mine that live there have had this happen as well. They blame it on their "new computer system". The first few days after I move in they put a note on my door stating that I owed 800 some odd dollars and I had JUST moved in, they obvioulsy do not keep good records, theyıre idiots and hipocrites! They told my neighbor one time that he couldınt have beer in the pool area, but then saw one of the leasing agents and her boyfriend out there a a week later with beer and a few friends out there just having themselves a good olı time. Other than all of the stress they give you, itıs great. The neighbors are wonderful, I have made several close friends from living here, we all watch out for eachtoher, but we all have the same problems when it comes to the people that run the place. This is the perfect place for you if you are an extremely patient person who doesnt mind living in a place where the management doesnt give a rats a** about you. The only reason Im still here is from convenience, I dont have the time or money to move, believe me , its not by choice!
