I'm torn, because I really wanted to like this place. It seemed wonderful, but after the first week things have been just going down hill. There was a flood in my bathroom not even seven days after moving in. Now, I'm dealing with an on-going mice infestation problem. Pest control, maintenance, and my own money to buy steel wool and every kind of trap under the sun and there's still mice running amok. Seven in one week, and they just keep coming. My refrigerator and freezer goes into defrost mode multiple times a day, and I can't keep anything in there that might go bad if it's not kept at a constant cold temperature. I've asked about getting this fixed before, but nothing. I think I may have to ask again. There's holes where the piping comes in, huge ones, under the sinks. The carpet comes up at the corners of the rooms, there's wiring under one of them. The laundry facilities are, to put it mildly, incredibly ghetto. Broken, dirty, leaking.
And yet, the neighbors are friendly. It's not too loud even though you can always hear whenever someone has their water turned on or flushes their toilet. The staff is incredibly nice, the maintenance guys are all very friendly. The grounds aren't bad, and the pool area is actually quite pretty. Still, I wouldn't choose to live here again and I'm regretting the ten more months I have here. I don't think I'll make it, as it stands now I'm sleeping in my tub to keep away from the mice. All my friends are appalled and are telling me I need to move out ASAP, and my parents are utterly horrified. They couldn't have helped much though, considering they don't live around here. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone, even though I'm sure not every experience here is as bad as mine. I hope it gets better soon, otherwise I will be contacting a lawyer on how to break my lease. This is ridiculous. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
