I have lived here for two years, I will not be renewing my lease when it's time. Mainly because of the crime and vandalism that occurs in these apartments. I can not continue to raise my children in this environment. Not that it does not happen in other places, but when your taking your children to school and they see their neighbor being brought out on a gurney by paramedics covered in blood after being shot, you know it's time to go!!!! It is out of control. They say they do a complete background check on the applicant, but they don't control who they move in with them. I have had my car vandalized as well, which cost me almost $600 to repair. I have no problem with the staff, and the newer guys in maintenance are great compared to the drug addict/drunk man they had previously. There are people who drive through the complex doing a good 35-40 miles an hour. I dont know if they are tenants or if they are just visiting, point is IT HAPPENS....I am ready to move.

............Also, one more thing to add. When I first moved into these apartments there were various activities planned monthly for the kids and residents in general. These activities no longer happen! False promises from the management, who's employee turn around is greater than the residence. However, they are friendly and I have not had any problems with them.

i agree i have been here since novemeber and i want out of my lease NOW, we have had things stolen from our porch front and back, we have a HORRIBLE roach problem... my cat kills at least 2 a day.. im 4months pregnant and i do not want my baby being in this place. Plus my husbands car was broken in to...

Yes, I forgot to include the roach situation. Grant it they do come once in a while, at your request to spray....BUT they never go away! They leave for a few days to the next apartment and then migrate back. I have lived in an apartment like setting for at least 15 years and have never had rodent/pest problems like I do here at the Meridian. We starting calling them our friends, because they never seem to leave for to long.
