I have lived here for a couple of years and many other residents have lived her for 5 of more years. They are not allowing sections 8 in here, the residents that are causing trouble are from the previous owners and management. Our new owners are cleaning up Mill Valley and doing a good job of it. I know of one resident that they let out of her lease, after she caused alot of trouble for several residents by calling the police and animal control for no reason....it was a case of good riddance to bad rubbish. They are no longer allowing dangerous breed dogs and all properties that change owners go through some growing pains, I have to admit I was at the point of giving up and moving also. However, in the last few months, the new owners have made great strides in getting Mill Valley cleaned up and the residents also. I have spoken to alot of other long time residents and they are happy with the new owners...we have started having safety meetings and are encouraged to share any issues that concern us. The apartments are putting in security cameras and we are getting our safety officer back, after the last company and management let the safety officer go. Most of the issues that we have been having are from the previous management and property owners. The new owners have now gotten the burnt out units repaired and are updating the apartments. The area that I live in is very quiet, I never hear loud music and as far as kids playing, it is what the courtyard is for and children have the right to play. There is just no making everyone happy.

Safty meeting?! You must be having them in secret for fear of the thugs because I've never heard about it and I've been here 3 years. If they don't allow pit in here anymore then why in the world does the drunk white guy always walk his pit down by the highway!? Plus lets not forget about the huge hole in the by the highway fence where someone drove through over 2 weeks ago!? Now the people on the highway can get their drugs too! YaY! Yeah we got the "courtesy officers" pager number yesterday on our doors.. wow. Do you really think that is going to make a difference after all this time without one? First thing that so called "courtesy officer" needs to do is run the drug dealers away from the exit mailboxes. This place isnt worth the rent. As for updates, sure isn't it a good idea to update and then let ghetto people live there when good residents who have lived here for years don't get the upgrade? Blah. we are moving to a nicer complex, without the thugs.

Yeah, WHAT SAFETY MEETINGS??? Who is going to monitor the security cameras? Do you honestly think the owners will HIRE someone to watch what is happening on camera? Don't count on it.
